Durante i tapings della prossima puntata di SmackDown che andrà in onda venerdì10 gennaio, The Big Show ha sfidato Brock Lesnar ad un match per la Royal Rumble, con Paul Heyman che ha accettato la sfida a nome del suo protetto.
Curiosamente, l'incontro si svolgerà a parti invertite rispetto a quanto avvenne nove anni fa alla Royal Rumble 2003, dove Heyman fece il manager di Show nel suo match contro Lesnar.
