Durante l'intervista post-Raw andata in onda in esclusiva sul WWE Network, Triple H ha annunciato che Sting affronterà Seth Rollins nel prossima pay-per-view Night of Champions, che si terrà a Houston, Texas.
In seguito è stato anche annunciato su WWE.Com tramite un comunicato, in cui però è specificato solo il WWE World Heavyweight Championship come titolo in palio nella contesa.
