L'ex-superstar della WWE Batista interpreterà il personaggio di 'Drax the Destroyer' nel film della Marvel "Guardians of the Galaxy", come confermato da Hollywood Reporter.
Il film, basato sull'omonimo team di eroi della Marvel, i Guardiani della Galassia, uscirà il 1 aprile 2014 in 3D; le riprese inizieranno nel giugno del 2013 negli Shepperton Studios nel Regno Unito. Il film sarà diretto da James Gunn, mentre Chris Pratt interpreterà il ruolo del protagonista, 'Star-Lord'.
