Il contratto tra AJ Styles e la TNA è scaduto ieri, ma sembra che AJ Styles e la TNA avrebbero concordato un nuovo contratto. Le varie date indies e l'annuncio uffuciale di ieri, sarebbero solo un work.

Secondo un'intervista con l'ex-WWE Diva Maria Kanellis (ora in ROH), la TNA l'avrebbe contattata numerose volte quest'anno; lei però avrebbe declinato queste ipotetiche offerte. Maria infatti ha detto:

"La TNA mi ha chiamato due volte quest'anno, penso siano una grande compagnia ma sto amando il mio tempo in ROH e senz'altro sono felice con il mio fidanzato. Chissà se questo cambierà mai, ma auguro alla TNA tutto il meglio al mondo, penso che le ragazze lì siano eccezionali."
