La TNA ha annunciato che a "One Night Only: Old School" andrà in scena un Monster's Ball match tra Jeff Hardy ed Abyss. La federazione ha già annunciato James Storm vs. Bobby Roode in un Last Man Standing e Bully Ray vs. Tommy Dreamer in un Falls Count Anywhere Match per il medesimo evento. Il PPV verrà registrato il 30 dicembre nello stato di New York e sarà trasmesso nel 2014.

Il PPV One Night Only "Old School" avrà come tema centrale il riproporre delle vecchie rivalità riaccese con dei classici match a stipulazione speciale.
